Workplace Health and Safety Directive

The EU Workplace Health and Safety Directive (89/391/EEC) is a European Union directive that sets out general principles for protection of workers' Occupational safety and health. It was adopted on 12 June 1989 and the EU member states had to transpose it into their national laws until 31st December 1992.[1]
